About Us

The Bobtown M.C.T. Charge is a newly created charge of three churches. For several years Bobtown UMC and Mt. Calvary UMC were on there own charge. Beginning in June of 2006, Taylortown UMC was added to that charge.

Also in June we welcomed Gale Cobb as our pastor to the Bobtown and Mt. Calvary Churches.

Monthly Events

Bobtown:

United Methodist Women - Meet every third Wednesday of the month.
Soup Sale - First Saturday of each month starting Oct thru March.

Taylortown:

Fellowship Meal - Second Sunday of each Month at 12:30

Yearly Events

Bobtown

Vacation Bible School is a time for neighboring families to bring their children to learn about Jesus through crafts, songs, games, and classes.
Church Picnic is held every year in August. It is a time to bring together the Church and Sunday School members. We gather at the church for fellowship and partake of an array of delicious dishes.
All Town Yard Sale is a time when church volunteers gather to sale peperoni rolls along with a variety of other foods.

Taylortown:

Mason-Dixon Festival and The Covered Bridge Festival is a time when church volunteers get together to make home-made noodles and have a fun-raiser to spread God's ministry.

Events throughout the year

Bobtown:

Family Night - different times of the year. Which include Pizza parties, Hay rides, and Back to School celebrations.
Rummage Sale sponsored by the United Methodist Women two times a year.
Bible Studies focusing on select topics offered throughout the year.
